    Pavelski was born in 11th July, 1984. His birth place was Plover, Wisconsin, U.S. his full name is Joseph James Pavelski. Heis the son of Mike Pavelski and Sandy Pavelski.He has three brothers whose name is Jerry Pavelski, Sheri Pavelski and Scott Pavelski. His younger brother Scott is former Player University of New Hemisphere hockey team. His birth sign is Cancer. His nationality is American. He is from white ethnicity group.

    Playing Career

    Pavelski started his playing career in 2002 at the age of 18 years. He scored his first goal in NHL game which makes him 11th sharks’ player in the history. He won the Wisconsin State Hockey Championship with Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH). He was the member of 2004 Clark Cup champion Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL and won USHL Dave Tyler Junior Player of the Year Award.

    In season 2004-06, he played 84 games at University of Wisconsin of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in 2-year season. He helped Wisconsin to win the 2006 NCAA Division I men’s Ice Hockey Championship. He recorded 101 points in two seasons.

    He began his NHL career in season 2006-07. He scores seven goals and ten points in his first 12 games. He became regular player of Shark roster in season 2007-08. In that season, he became most dangerous player of NHL during shoot outscoring seven goals in eleven opportunities. Pavelski led San Jose with three game-winning goals during playoff which tied for the third most in the league.

    In 2008-09 seasons, he appeared in 80 games and scored 25 goals, 34 assists and 59 points. In 19th March 2011, Pavelski was close to his first hat trick against St. Louis Blues. During 2012-13 NHL Lockout, Pavelski signed with Belarusian team Dinamo Minsk of Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). In 30th July, 2013, Sharks announced that the club has signed Pavelski for five-year contract. In 11th March, 2014, Pavelski scored his 400th career points against Toronto Maple Leafs. During this season, he scored 41 goals and 79 points.

    In season 2014-15, he had another great scoring of 70 points i.e. 37 goals and 33 assists and in season 2015-16, Pavelski made score of 78 points which include 38 goals and 70 points. In Stanley Cup final, Pavelski scored only one goal. In 1st December, 2017, he scored 300th NHL goals on a pass from Joe Thornton against Florida Panthers.

    International Career

    In 1st January, 2010, he was selected to 2010 USA Olympic Team. He had three assists from his team’s member and was second in face off percentage among all players in tournaments. Paveski won a faceoff and made a pass that set up the play that result in the USA tying game with 24 seconds left. He was named as Swiss Army Knife bye a USA General Manager Brian Burke. In 1st January, 2014, he was selected for the second time in USA Olympic team.
