In 2004, he achieved a promotion to the Columbus clippers of the class-AAA International League. Finally he got chance to play in the Major Leagues for New York Yankees on May 3, 2005. There he hits .330 in 108 bats. Later, In American League Rookie of the year, he finished with second position.
